Media & Advocacy

Driving Awareness, Impact, and Transformation Across Africa

At NASRDA / GBB, our Media & Advocacy Unit plays a vital role in shaping conversations around youth empowerment, skill development, innovation, and sustainable growth across Nigeria and Africa.

We believe that awareness drives action, and through our media and advocacy efforts, we promote education, inclusion, and transformation—giving visibility to the life-changing work being done across communities.

1. Public Awareness Campaigns

Our media outreach focuses on sensitizing communities, especially young people and women, about the importance of acquiring high-value skills for economic independence.
Through TV, radio, social media, and grassroots mobilization, we spread the message of empowerment, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

Key Campaign Goals:

  • Promote nationwide participation in our skill and entrepreneurship programs.

  • Encourage government and private sector collaboration in youth development.

  • Drive awareness on gender inclusion and women empowerment initiatives.

2. Media Coverage & Publications

We maintain active collaboration with local and international media outlets, journalists, and influencers to ensure transparent reporting of our programs, milestones, and impact stories.

Our activities, success stories, and official events are regularly featured across:

  • National and regional television and radio broadcasts

  • Online news platforms and digital publications

  • Social media channels (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube)

  • NASRDA / GBB Official Newsletter

These publications serve as a window into the real-life transformation taking place through our platform.

3. Advocacy for Policy Change

Beyond empowerment programs, NASRDA / GBB advocates for policies that support youth innovation, gender equality, agribusiness funding, and digital inclusion.

We work closely with:

  • Government agencies and ministries

  • Development partners and NGOs

  • Private sector stakeholders
to promote frameworks that expand opportunities for young people to thrive in today’s digital economy.

4. Storytelling & Community Voices

We use storytelling to celebrate our beneficiaries, showcasing their resilience, growth, and success after completing our training programs.
Every story shared is a reflection of the collective progress we are making toward a self-reliant Africa driven by skills, creativity, and innovation.

5. Partner Media Collaborations

We welcome partnerships with media houses, journalists, bloggers, social media advocates, and content creators who share our passion for positive change.
Together, we can amplify awareness, mobilize support, and highlight the remarkable impact of our work across the continent.
