Grants & Business Funding Support Program

Fueling Ideas, Financing Growth

Access to funding remains one of the biggest challenges facing startups, entrepreneurs, and small business owners across Nigeria and Africa. Many brilliant ideas fail to thrive simply because the visionaries behind them lack the financial support to bring them to life.

The NASRDA / GBB Grants & Business Funding Support Program was created to close that gap — empowering trained beneficiaries and young entrepreneurs with the financial resources, mentorship, and business guidance they need to start, grow, and sustain successful ventures.

This program ensures that every participant who completes our training can move beyond learning to launching real businesses that create jobs, generate income, and contribute to national development.

Program Overview

The Grants & Business Funding Support Program provides access to non-repayable grants, low-interest loans, cooperative support, and government funding channels designed for startups and small business owners.

It also helps participants learn how to develop business plans, pitch proposals, manage finances, and strategically use funds for maximum impact.

Through partnerships with government agencies, financial institutions, development banks, and NGOs, we connect participants to credible funding sources and help them navigate the often-complex application processes.

Objectives

The program aims to:

  • Provide financial support and seed capital to trained beneficiaries.

  • Help entrepreneurs access government and private sector grants or funding opportunities.

  • Build the financial literacy and management capacity of business owners.

  • Encourage the creation of sustainable, job-creating enterprises.

  • Support the growth of local businesses that drive innovation and self-reliance.

  • Ensure that funding translates into measurable community impact.

Program Components
1. Grant Access & Facilitation

We guide participants through the process of identifying and applying for local, national, and international grants suited to their business ideas.

4. Investment Readiness & Mentorship

Selected participants are matched with financial experts, business coaches, and investors who provide guidance on structuring, scaling, and sustaining their businesses.
Mentorship ensures that funds are properly utilized to achieve real business impact and financial independence.

5. Startup Support & Monitoring

We go beyond disbursement — every funded participant receives ongoing business development support, monitoring, and evaluation to ensure success.
This includes access to digital tools, marketing guidance, and inclusion in our Entrepreneurship Alumni Network, where peer learning and collaboration continue.
