Our goal is to help young people learn high-value, in-demand skills from the comfort of their homes, earn recognized certificates of participation, and gain the knowledge needed to start their own businesses.

Led by Engr. Ibrahim Moses Igoche (CEO, GBB), this partnership is creating opportunities, inspiring innovation, and driving Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in Nigeria and Africa at large.

Our History

🕊️ Our History

The GBB Skill Empowerment Initiative was born out of a shared vision between two forward-thinking institutions the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) and Grassroot Bridge Builders (GBB) — to empower youths across Nigeria and Africa with practical, high-value skills for the future.

Recognizing the growing unemployment rate and the widening skill gap among young people, Dr. Matthew Adekpoju, Director General of NASRDA, and Engr. Ibrahim Moses Igoche, CEO of GBB, joined forces to create a solution that goes beyond theory — a platform that teaches, mentors, and empowers.

What started as a partnership to promote digital innovation and technical skill acquisition has evolved into a continent-wide empowerment movement — integrating technology, entrepreneurship, agribusiness, and mentorship to prepare youths for real-world opportunities.

Today, the NASRDA / GBB initiative stands as a symbol of collaboration, innovation, and transformation, dedicated to building a generation of self-reliant and globally competitive Africans.
